Terms of Service

These terms are written to be read by a human, not a lawyer. If anything is unclear, email us.
1. Who we are
TinyKomainu is a suite of focused SaaS tools built for indie hackers and solo founders. It's operated by a Japanese business (contact: mk@natrium.co.jp). Individual products (Watch, Hooks, and others in the future) may have their own terms that apply in addition to these.
2. Your account
Each TinyKomainu product requires an account. You sign in with Google or email. You're responsible for keeping your account secure. Don't share access.
You must be at least 13 years old to use our products.
3. Plans and payment
Some products have free tiers with no payment required. Paid plans are billed monthly via Stripe. All prices are in USD. You're charged at the start of each billing period.
No surprise charges. We'll email you before any price change takes effect.
4. Cancellation policy
You can cancel your subscription at any time from the billing page — two clicks, no cancellation form, no "are you sure?" loops, no dark patterns.
After cancellation, you retain full access to your plan until the end of the current billing period. Your subscription will not renew after that.
To cancel: sign in → Settings icon → Billing → Manage subscription (Stripe Customer Portal) → Cancel plan.
5. Refund policy
We don't issue prorated refunds for partial billing periods. When you cancel, you keep access to your paid features until the end of the period you already paid for. You won't be charged again after that.
If you have an exceptional circumstance — accidental renewal, a billing error, or anything else — email us at mk@natrium.co.jp. We'll handle it like a person, not a policy.
6. What we promise (and don't)
We build tools we'd want to use ourselves. We try hard to keep them reliable. We don't promise 100% uptime — we're a small team, not an enterprise SLA vendor. If we have a significant outage, we'll post about it publicly.
Our tools depend on third-party services (APIs, databases, hosting). We're not liable for failures that originate outside our control.
7. Acceptable use
Don't abuse our services, create fake accounts to bypass plan limits, or attempt to interfere with our infrastructure. We reserve the right to suspend accounts that violate these rules, with notice where possible.
8. Limitation of liability
Our total liability to you is limited to the amount you've paid us in the 12 months before the claim. We're not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
9. Changes to these terms
We'll notify you by email and in-app at least 14 days before making material changes. Continuing to use our products after changes take effect means you accept them.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Japan. Disputes will be handled in Japanese courts, unless we agree otherwise.
11. Hooks (webhook translator)
What Hooks does: Hooks receives webhooks from services you connect (such as Stripe, Shopify, and GitHub), verifies signatures, applies your filter and template rules, and delivers notifications to channels you configure (email, Slack, Discord, or a custom webhook URL).
Event quotas: Each plan includes a monthly event limit. On the Free plan, events received after you reach your limit are stored for visibility but not processed until the next billing period or until you upgrade. On Pro and Team plans, a small overage buffer (up to 10% above your limit) is included at no extra charge; usage beyond that may be billed at $0.001 per event via Stripe metered billing when enabled.
Your responsibilities: You are responsible for keeping signing secrets confidential, configuring webhook URLs only for services you are authorized to use, and ensuring your filters and templates do not forward data to channels you do not control.
Availability: Hooks is provided on a best-effort basis. We do not offer an uptime SLA in the MVP. Product-specific details are in the Hooks Terms of Service.
